Woman missing from Troy found safe by police ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police announced that the woman who had been missing out of Troy has been found safe. Her disappearance had prompted an abducted adult alert early in the day on June 3. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! The woman involved had last been seen on June 2 being forced into a vehicle on Peoples Avenue in Troy. State Police canceled the alert at 2:28 p.m. on June 3, and at 3:15 p.m., it was announced that the Albany Police Department had located the vehicle and the woman. After interviewing everyone involved, it was determined that no charges are currently being filed in regard to the incident. Stick with News10 as this story develops.

Brentwood Park now open, work on destination playground underway BRENTWOOD, Mo. - A highly-anticipated park in the St. Louis metro is now open to the public. Brentwood mayor David Dimmit and other officials celebrated the grand opening of Brentwood Park on Friday. A multi-million dollar destination playground on the park grounds is expected to open this fall. The new facility is home to the Deer Creek Greenway Connector, a path that connects Rogers Parkway with the Deer Creek Greenway. The park also has an event pavilion, walking trails and an amphitheater. St. Louis sheriff offers crime solution. Who’s listening? Later this year, the city hopes to open a big-ticket destination playground at the park. Current plans call for sensory and ADA-friendly playground elements, a net climber, swings and a new walking paths among other elements. There could also be a rock climbing wall and zipline features. Stolen llama found dead in Larimer County LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — A llama was found dead days after he was taken from his home in Larimer County.Smokey, a 9-year-old llama, lived on West County Road 38E, west of Horsetooth Reservoir, and was stolen Monday night, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.In a Facebook post Thursday, the sheriff’s office asked for the community’s help in locating Smokey. “Smokey’s family misses him – let’s bring this fleecy fella home!” the post reads.In an update, LCSO said Smokey was found dead in the area.Read the full story at our partner, Denver7.com

Lochbuie man sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for child pornography A Lochbuie man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for production of child pornography.Steven Patrick McConnell, 32, was also sentenced to 25 years of supervised release following the prison term, according to a U.S. Justice Department news release.In December of 2021, McConnell engaged in online conversations with an undercover FBI agent about a six-year-old victim, according to the release. McConnell, who entered a plea agreement in the case, said that he sexually assaulted the victim and produced child pornography of the assaults.The FBI obtained the IP address associated with McConnell and served a warrant at his residence where “devices” containing “child pornography produced by the defendant” were seized. Mechanics told her the wires are made with a common food product.Sharonle Bolger knew something was wrong when the lights on her dashboard went out.
