As a former military officer, there is a roadmap for navigating success that requires bold, assertive leadership. Driver, vehicle sought in fatal hit-and-run in Loma Linda

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is looking for a vehicle and its driver after a fatal hit-and-run in Loma Linda last month.The Feb. 28 incident left 39-year-old James Spivery Jr. lying in the roadway near the intersection of Barton Road and Oakwood Drive, officials said in a news release. Spivery later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. Investigators believe the vehicle that struck Spivery might have been a white Nissan Juke, which likely has significant front-end damage and could be missing its front Nissan emblem. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or with information is asked to contact Deputy R. 38-Year-Old Man Dies, Alvaro Alvizo Diaz Arrested after Head-On Accident near Wellsona RoadPASO ROBLES, CA (March 17, 2023) – Late Tuesday night, Isaldo Santiago was killed in a wrong-way collision on Highway 101.Police responded to the scene around 11:18 p.m., just north of Wellsona Road on March 14th.According to reports, 33-year-old Alvaro Alvizo Diaz was heading east on Wellsona Road in a 2020 Nissan Sentra. For reasons unknown, he suddenly turned south onto the northbound lanes of Highway 101.Diaz then struck an oncoming vehicle driven by Santiago, head-on at about 65 mph. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 38-year-old Santiago, of Oxnard dead at the scene.In addition, officers arrested Diaz on suspicion of DUI. Medics also transported him to Sierra Vista Trauma Center for treatment of major injuries. Multiple Vehicles Crash on I-10 Leaving Four DeadBENSON, AZ (March 15, 2023) – On Friday, a crash claimed the lives of Lamar Bryant, Desi Draught, Adolfo Valdez, and Claudia Espinoza.It happened on March 10th at around 8:09 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near milepost 306.According to the Arizona DPS, the incident involved a tractor-trailer, a passenger car, and two commercial vehicles.Investigators have learned that the tractor was traveling westbound when it crossed the center median at milepost 306 and crashed into a commercial vehicle and a passenger vehicle, both traveling eastbound.Furthermore, the vehicles that were struck were occupied by 36-year-old Bryant, and 47-year-old Draught, both from New Orleans, 30-year-old Valdez, and 50-year-old Espinoza, both from Moorpark CA.In addition, the fourth vehicle tried to avoid the wreck when it swerved and went into the bushes. Three days after a monstrous windstorm thrashed power lines and left hundreds of thousands of Bay Area residents without power, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company worked to slash remaining outages to less than 10,000 as of Friday morning.According to the utility’s 9 a.m. update Friday, 9,711 PG&E customers were still without power. 4,652 of those were in the South Bay, while 3,777 were on the Peninsula. SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) -- A Santa Rosa man allegedly driving under the influence hit three cars during rush hour and injured several, Santa Rosa police said. Police arrested him after he fled the scene on foot, SRPD officials said.Police responded to reports of an accident involving four vehicles at the intersection of Stony Point Road and College Avenue.
